Hezbollah engages IOF in fierce confrontations, inflicts casualties
Hezbollah fighters launches multiple rocket and artillery strikes on Israeli occupation targets, including soldiers, artillery positions, and settlements, while engaging in intense confrontations.
In a series of coordinated military operations on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, Hezbollah launched multiple strikes targeting Israeli occupation positions and settlements across northern occupied Palestine and Lebanese territories.
Moreover, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon continues to confront Israeli occupation forces attempting to invade Lebanese territory across the length of its border with occupied Palestine.

- At 01:40 am, Hezbollah fighters targeted the occupied city of Safad with a large rocket salvo.
- At 02:30 am, Hezbollah fighters targeted an Israeli artillery position in Dalton with a rocket salvo.
- At 02:30 am, Hezbollah fighters targeted an Israeli artillery position in Dishon with a rocket salvo.
- At 03:40 am, Hezbollah fighters targeted the Yiftah settlement with a rocket salvo.
- At 10:30 am, Hezbollah fighters targeted a Merkava tank near the town of Ramyah with a guided missile, causing casualties among its crew.
- At 02:15 pm, Hezbollah fighters targeted the Karmiel settlement with a large rocket salvo.
- At 02:30 pm, Hezbollah fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers on Tal al-Qubaa in Markaba with artillery shells.
- At 03:00 pm, Hezbollah fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers in Misgav Am with artillery shells.
- At 05:00 pm, Hezbollah fighters engaged in intense confrontations with Israeli occupation forces near the town of al-Qawzah using various types of machine guns, resulting in several casualties.
- At 05:30 pm, Hezbollah fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers in Misgav Am with a rocket salvo.
- At 05:40 pm, Hezbollah fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers between the towns of Odeisseh and Markaba with a rocket salvo.
- At 06:50 pm, Hezbollah fighters targeted the occupied city of Safad with a rocket salvo.
- At 06:55 pm, Hezbollah fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers in Wadi Hounin with a rocket salvo.
- At 06:30 pm, Hezbollah fighters forced two Israeli drones to retreat from South Lebanon by targeting them with surface-to-air missiles.
- At 9:10 pm, Hezbollah fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli enemy soldiers in Khallet Wardeh with a salvo of rockets.
- At 09:25 pm, Hezbollah fighters conducted two simultaneous operations targeting the Israeli enemy artillery position in Dalton and the Yiftah Barracks with salvoes of rockets.
Hezbollah unveils specs of newly-deployed Qader 2, Nasr 1 missiles
Moreover, today, Hezbollah's Military Media unveiled the specs of the new Qader 2 and Nasr 1 missiles, which were put into service on October 14, 2024, revealing their unique features.
Hezbollah fighters launched a barrage of missiles toward the suburbs of Tel Aviv on Monday in response to "Israel's" brutal assaults on Lebanese cities and civilians.
The Resistance afterward published footage of the operation, revealing that the targeting was carried out with Qader 2 missiles.

Qader 2 is a surface-to-surface point-precision ballistic missile engineered by Hezbollah fighters. It can strike vital targets with an accuracy of up to 5 meters and has a highly destructive power.

On October 14, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announces targeting the Stella Maris naval base northwest of Haifa with a salvo of high-end rockets
It is noteworthy that the Resistance revealed these qualitative missiles after Hezbollah's war media published a new video titled "We will make Haifa like Kiryat Shmona and Metula."

Sirens sound almost 29,000 times since October 7, 2023
Sirens have sounded approximately 29,000 times in "Israel" since October 7, 2023, according to the Israeli newspaper, Haaretz, with the settlement of Kiryat Shmona being the most impacted.
Haaretz reported that the sirens went off 28,581 times since October 7, 2023, warning of drone and/or rocket launches from Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, Yemen, Iraq, and Syria.
The newspaper noted the number of rockets and drones that entered "Israel" is as follows:
- From Gaza: 11,159
- From Lebanon: 12,531
- From Iran: 4,384
- From Yemen: 418
- From Syria: 60
- From Iraq: 29
According to the report, the Israeli-occupied settlement of Kiryat Shmona saw the highest number of sirens, with alarms sounding 425 times.
