Hezbollah hits Ayelet barracks, Mount Neria base with swarms of drones

Hezbollah's Resistance fighters carry out eight military operations against Israeli military sites.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah announced on Monday a new series of operations against Israeli military sites and troops along the border with occupied Palestine.
Hezbollah said the operations were in support of "our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their brave and honorable Resistance and in response to the Israeli enemy's attacks on the steadfast southern [Lebanese] villages."
The operations came as follows:
1- The Lebanese Resistance group launched an aerial attack with a swarm of one-way drones on the newly established 91st Division headquarters in the Ayelet barracks, targeting the positioning locations of its officers and soldiers, hitting them directly, and inflicting several casualties and injuries.
Hezbollah said the operation was in response to the Israeli attacks and assassinations in the towns of al-Bazouriyah, Deir Seryan, and Houla.
The operation came amid the utmost military readiness and preparations of the Israeli occupation army and its air defense systems, as well as its surveillance, espionage, and tracking systems, and in light of the deployment of all American and Western technology to protect the entity as it awaits a response from Hezbollah and Iran. Despite all the aforementioned measures, the Israeli occupation airspace was still breached, and the operation resulted in the killing of one soldier and the injury of another.
Following is a dissection of what happened in the Upper Galilee at dawn on Monday 5-8-2024:
- Sirens sounded in 12 Israeli settlements over an area of about 180 square kilometers from Kafr Giladi in the north to Ayelet HaShahar in the South;
- The area houses several important Israeli military barracks armed with Iron Dome launchers, including the headquarters of the Sahel Battalion in the Beit Hillel barracks, the headquarters of the 769th Brigade in the Kiryat Shmona barracks, the Ramot Naftali barracks, the Yiftah barracks, and other barracks and military sites;
- A number of drones coming from Lebanon from different directions were identified;
- Israeli air defenses were activated;
- Israeli warplanes were trying to intercept the drones in the airspace of northern occupied Palestine;.
- Iron Dome missiles failed to shoot down the drones, and some of them even fell and exploded inside the settlement of Ayelet HaShahar, according to settlers' documentation, which reminds us of the incident of the missile that fell on Majdal Shams, thus making it more likely that the cause of the massacre was an interceptor missile.
As a matter of fact, there are multiple documented incidents that prove that interceptor missiles have mistakenly fallen in multiple areas, such as Tel Aviv, Majdal Shams, Ayelet HaShahar, and others.
- The drones reached their target intact and exploded inside the headquarters of the newly established Galilee Division in the Ayelet barracks, killing and wounding soldiers from the elite Golani Brigade.
- The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has proven through this top-tier operation that it has the upper hand and that it is capable of penetrating the enemy’s readiness and preparations and striking wherever it wants without being stopped by an air defense system or any other means.
- Despite it being a top-tier operation carried out by the Resistance in response to the assassination of Resistance fighters in the south, it remains limited; which raises questions about how the response to the assassination of the great Resistance leader Sayyed Mohsen would be.
2- At 8:15 am, the Resistance attacked the Israeli al-Malikiyah site with a one-way drone that struck its targets with precision.
3- At 10:05 am, Hezbollah targeted the Ramim barracks with artillery shells.
4- At 12:40 pm, the Islamic Resistance targeted the Zarit barracks with artillery shells.
5- At 12:50 pm, the Resistance bombarded the Ras al-Naqoura site with heavy artillery shells.
6- At 6:05 pm, Hezbollah bombarded the Israeli artillery positions in Khirbet Ma'ar with rocket weapons.
7- At 7:00 pm, the Lebanese Resistance group targeted the Zebdine barracks in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms with artillery shells.
8- At 7:00 pm, Hezbollah attacked the Mount Neria base (a battalion leadership headquarters currently occupied by forces from the Golani Brigade) with a swarm of one-way drones. The Resistance said the drones struck the positioning locations of the base's officers and soldiers, directly impacting the target and confirming casualties.
The Islamic Resistance said the operation was in response to the Israeli attacks on the steadfast southern villages, especially the assassination in Mays al-Jabal.
In the same context, Hezbollah also mourned its fighters martyrs Ali Shoukeir (Jihad), from the southern Lebanese town of Mays al-Jabal, and Ali Jawad (Karbala), from the southern Lebanese town of Zebdine, on the path to [liberate occupied] al-Quds.

In the same vein, the Islamic Risala Scout Association also mourned paramedic martyr Mohammad Fawzi Hamadi (Abu Zeinab), from Mays al-Jabal, who was killed while performing his national and humanitarian duty in defense of Lebanon and the South.
