Hezbollah launched 1,000 ATGMs, 'Israel' has no solution: Expert
An Israeli expert says the Israeli occupation forces have no solution to the ongoing direct Hezbollah attacks from southern Lebanon.
Israeli media outlets launched comprehensive assessments of the losses of Israeli settlements and military sites, as a result of Hezbollah anti-tank guided missile launches since October 8.
Israeli newspaper Maariv reported on statements made by Israeli military researcher Or Fialkov, who disclosed that Hezbollah has launched approximately 1,000 anti-tank guided missiles at Israeli positions. Fialkov highlighted that Hezbollah's targets extended from Ras al-Naqoura to "Mount Hermon", striking military sites along the entire border. He noted that the attacks were carried out using a diverse array of anti-tank missiles, covering nearly all frontline positions of the Israeli army.
Fialkov emphasized the transformation of the conflict from sporadic strikes every few days to a sustained daily barrage on Israeli military sites and headquarters. Notable among the targeted sites are the headquarters of the 769th Territorial Brigade and Camp "Yoav" base in the Golan Heights, the "Nafah" Camp affiliated with the 1st "Golani" Brigade, the "Meron" Air Traffic Control Base, the Northern Command Headquarters in Safad, and numerous other Israeli locations.
The Israeli researcher recalled a specific incident following the assassination of Hamas Deputy Political Bureau Chief Saleh al-Arouri in Beirut. Hezbollah responded by launching a barrage of Kornet EM anti-tank missiles at the "Meron" airbase's "Airborne Control Unit 506." Many of these missiles precisely hit the protective domes of the air control system, resulting in damage to detection capabilities at the Israeli Air Force's control base.

Highlighting the intensification of Hezbollah's operations along the borders, Fialkov pointed out that the Resistance attacked frontline sites with the advanced Iranian-made "Almas" anti-tank missile. This missile is equipped with an electro-optical seeker transmitting images from the missile's camera to the operator, enabling target selection out of the operator's direct line of sight.
Fialkov expressed concern over the Israeli military's lack of a solution to counter anti-tank attacks, relying instead on a containment approach to the situation. He noted that the data strongly suggest Hezbollah's readiness to launch thousands of anti-tank missiles and tens of thousands of shells on the north and central regions in any future war, significantly disrupting settlers' lives and compromising the military's capabilities.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has been launching near-daily operations on Israeli military sites and positions, stemming from its unwavering support for the Palestinian people. The group has also responded to multiple Israeli attacks against Lebanese citizens and continues to work to liberate the remaining Israeli-occupied Lebanese territories near the Lebanese-Palestinian border.
