Al Mayadeen's sources reported on Thursday that the Islamic resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah, launched a drone from Lebanese territory into the airspace of occupied Palestine.
"The occupation forces fired two batches of anti-air missiles at the drone before shooting it down inside occupied Palestine," Al Mayadeen sources added.
Sirens sounded in "Metulla" in the Upper al-Jalil on the Lebanese-Palestinian border, the military media of the Islamic Resistance reported.
Israeli media announced that a number of shells had fallen on the "Metulla" settlement, north of occupied Palestine, indicating that the matter was "related to the interception of a drone that attempted to enter from Lebanon."
According to Israeli media, "Despite reports in Lebanon about three missiles being launched, official information confirms that a drone was intercepted."
The Israeli occupation is still anxious and confused on the northern front, especially since this front is being targeted by the resistance in response to the occupation's attacks on Lebanese territory, which led to the martyrdom of three IOF soldiers.
UAVs and possibly paratroopers and paragliders infiltrated the occupied Palestinian-Lebanese borders sending shockwaves throughout the Israeli occupation in a step that potentially stokes the existing tensions in the region, Israeli media reported Wednesday.
The security operation carried out in northern Palestine, whose presumed origin in Lebanon, overwhelmed the Israeli occupation and caused sirens to sound all over occupied Northern Palestine, with nearly every single settlement activating its EAS.
Hezbollah responds, strikes sensitive military Israeli bases
Yesterday, "The Resistance fighters of the Islamic Resistance targeted the Zionist site of Al-Jardah, opposite the Al-Dhahira area, with guided missiles, which led to a large number of confirmed casualties among the ranks of the occupation forces, including dead and wounded," according to a Hezbollah statement adopting the latest strikes against the Israeli occupation forces in the occupied territories.
The Hezbollah announced on Monday the targeting of two sensitive Israeli occupation military sites in northern occupied Palestine as an initial response to the martyrdom of three Resistance fighters killed in Israeli aggression on a Lebanese town near the Palestinian border.
In a statement, Hezbollah said it targeted "Biranit" barracks, which is the command center of the Galilee Division, and the "Avivim" military base, the command center for a battalion affiliated with the Western Brigade.
"Israel" fears Hezbollah entering the "Al-Aqsa Flood" battle from the northern front, in order to support the resistance factions in the Gaza Strip, which will lead to increased pressure on the occupation "army", which is suffering from weakness and dispersion.
