Hezbollah politburo deputy chief talks to Al Mayadeen Twitter space
Vice-president of Lebanese Hezbollah's political council, Mahmoud Komati, discussed on Twitter Space the resistance's presence in the face of "Israel" and Lebanon's political situation.
Vice-president of Lebanese Hezbollah's political council, Mahmoud Komati, said on Al Mayadeen's Twitter Space Thursday that the July War severely affected Israeli society, triggering fear among the settlers in occupied territories.
He emphasized that the goal of the war was clear to the Israeli side, and an existing political operations room decided to crush Hezbollah, "and the whole world was waiting."
Komati pointed out that the former Lebanese Prime Minister, Salim al-Hoss, "spoke to one of the [Gulf] princes to mediate the neutralization of civilians, but (President) al-Hoss advised no intervention because the decision to crush Hezbollah was taken."
He stressed that during the war, the resistance was defending Lebanon, itself, and the Lebanese people, stressing that the enemy is the side that incurred heavy losses.
However, Komati confirms that the resistance became a military force that is capable of "attacking and only defending," pointing out its developed capabilities. He stressed that "when the enemy wanted to end the war, the resistance was not even as powerful as it is today."

The official stressed that the resistance is always "implementing equations through which it imposes its will on the enemy," stressing that the day will come when the resistance will prevent the Israeli Air Force from penetrating Lebanese skies.
The party official said that if the occupation carries an attack against Lebanon or commits any assassination against a resistance party member, the resistance will respond by targeting Israeli occupation forces, stressing that the Israeli military fears human losses, which in that case, he suggests would break it down completely.
And while "the Palestinian mother is proud of her martyred son, the Israelis would collapse and panic, and whenever the resistance causes losses, the Israelis are psychologically defeated," Komati said.
Oil wealth equation
He stated that in addition to "deterrence and confrontation with the enemy, there is a new equation, which is the equation of oil wealth," adding that "the enemy is prohibited from benefiting from Palestinian oil unless Lebanon benefits from its oil as well."
Komati stressed that "Israel is carrying out provocative actions.. it made changes to the border and annexed Al-Ghajar (in South Lebanon)," adding that in the event that Hezbollah responds to their infringement, the party is immediately accused of fueling conflicts, but he stressed that up till now, "but the response to these transgressions, until this moment, was only this tent."
The Hezbollah official believed that "Israel is too weak to decide on the removal of the tent, and if it does, the resistance will take a stance and will not just be a witness," explaining that the resistance is discrete until necessary confrontation.
He assured the Israelis that "this tent will remain, and 'Israel' must retreat from the northern part of Ghajar," stressing that the resistance will not allow continued Israeli presence on the land.

According to Komati, this confrontation is a matter of great significance and the resistance will not abandon the equations that have been established.
He stressed that Hezbollah has not abandoned its goal of liberating every inch of Lebanese territory, such as Kfar Shuba, Ghajar, the Naqoura point, the railway station, and others, adding that: "All of them are Lebanon's right, and we will not give up an inch of them."
Komati clarified that the problem does not involve the land borders, it is related to the US will to solve the issue of Al-Ghajar, noting that "when we were discussing the maritime borders, we called on Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri to link the land with the maritime borders, but the Americans refused."

With regard to the Palestinians, the Hezbollah official said that "We witnessed the wonderful resistance of the Palestinian people, especially during the recent confrontations that took place in Jenin,"
He stressed that what happened embodied "Unity of the battlefields" since "Israel" is no longer limited to one arena, and the Palestinian resistance factions are united.
Hezbollah's expertise has become redundant
The official says he believes that in any future confrontation, the entire region will face the Israelis, and the matter will not be limited to Palestine, adding that the occupation is keeping an eye out for an all-out war.
Komati stressed that Hezbollah will directly respond to any Israeli aggression, explaining that "the party's role in the region is to benefit the axis of resistance with combat expertise because its experience has become redundant."
According to him, the party also has a role in "helping the Palestinian resistance manufacture weapons and missiles," noting that "people were previously arrested for smuggling weapons."
Lebanon is in the last quarter of the dark tunnel: Komati
With regard to Lebanon, Komati is optimistic that the country has reached "the final quarter of the dark tunnel" and confirmed the existence of a "structured political crisis," expressing Hezbollah's readiness to reach the necessary solutions.
He expressed the party's insistence on nominating Suleiman Franjieh, head of the Marada Movement, for president, stressing that there is no better suitor and that he is the right man for the job. With regard to the Free Patriotic Movement, he said that the two parties had talks, aiming to rebuild severed relations.
The Hezbollah official pointed out that the party took mitigating steps in the economy and did not address the entire crisis, stressing that the party never assumed the state's role, "even if we are accused of that. If we really were, we would have cooperated with China and Iran, and headed east."
He pointed out that if the resistance party was in fact "taking over the state," Iran's donations would have been accepted, but the deep state refuses them and refuses to head east. Additionally, he stresses that the deep state's decisions are in fact influenced by the US administration.
