The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah launched a series of operations in support of the Palestinian people and their Resistance in the Gaza Strip, targeting Israeli military personnel, assets, and sites in occupied territories.

A list of operations conducted by Hezbollah on February 6, 2024

  • At 8:15 am (local time), Hezbollah fighters targeted the "Ramim" Barracks, located in the occupied Lebanese town of Hounin, in al-Jalil Panhandle, with two large-caliber Burkan rockets, dealing direct hits to the intended target.
  • At 10:00 am on Tuesday, Hezbollah fighters launched a Falaq-1 rocket at the positions of Israeli occupation soldiers in the Jal al-Allam military site near the coast of northern occupied Palestine.
  • Around an hour later, the Resistance launched an attack, targeting a grouping of Israeli occupation soldiers that had been present in the vicinity of the aforementioned "Ramim" Barracks, confirming direct hits.
  • In the afternoon, Hezbollah launched an attack on the positions of Israeli occupation soldiers in the vicinity of al-Marj military site and the site itself, which is located in al-Jalil Pandhandle, with artillery shells.
  • Later at 2:10 pm, the Resistance targeted the headquarters of the 769th Territorial Brigade "Beit Hillel" with appropriate weapons, confirming direct hits to the intended targets.
  • Just 20 minutes later, Hezbollah fighters launched an attack on a grouping of Israeli occupation soldiers in the Roueissat al-Alam military site located in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms, located to the northeast of the aforementioned site.
  • Exactly an hour later, Hezbollah Resistance fighters targeted al-Ramtha military site confirming direct hits.

Double attack on 'Ramim' stirs up social media

The operations targeting Israeli military assets and personnel in "Beit Hillel" and the "Ramim" military sites marked the most significant events of Tuesday.

Israeli social media accounts circulated a video showing the aftermath of a Burkan rocket that directly hit the "Ramim" Barracks.

Hezbollah's Military Media account on Telegram also shared the photo scene below, captured at the "Ramim" Barracks, which showcases the destructive capabilities of the Burkan rockets, which carry between 300-500 kg of explosive material.

It is worth noting that the Islamic Resistance launched two attacks on the "Ramim" Barracks, showcasing its ability to control and command hot zones on the "Northern Front", despite Israeli aerial surveillance and shelling.

What is the 769th Brigade?

Although the Resistance has attacked Israeli military assets in "Beit Hillel" on multiple occasions since October 8, today's operations marked the first announcement in which the headquarters of the 769th Brigade was explicitly targeted.

The 796th Territorial Brigade, known as "Hiram" in Hebrew, is responsible for ground operations on the eastern section of the "Northern Front" with Lebanon. It consists of three infantry battalions and operates under the 91st Division, which is, in turn, responsible for operations on the front with Lebanon and Haramoun Mountain, also known as Jabal al-Sheikh.
