On the anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon released a statement, reemphasizing the full right of the Palestinian people to maintain their Resistance against the occupation “to reclaim their legitimate rights and end the occupation.”

The statement continued that the war has proved to be fragile, as despite the brutality and aggression of the occupation, which led to the martyrdom of thousands, it is unable to survive without US support.

Furthermore, the statement reiterated that there is "no place for the Zionist entity in our region and within our society," emphasizing that it is “an aggressive tumor that must be eradicated, no matter how long it takes.”

According to the statement, the United States, along with its allies, are complicit in the ongoing occupation and the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip and Lebanon – “they bear full responsibility for the killing, brutality, injustice, and devastating humanitarian tragedies.”

The statement acknowledged the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their courageous Resistance “despite all the suffering and pain they have endured."

In the statement, the movement acknowledged “the strength and bravery of our brethren in the support fronts in dear Yemen and great Iraq, as well as the historic decision taken by the Islamic Republic of Iran to strike deep into the heart of the occupation entity with missiles in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples,” which it considered it had a significant and profound effect on the confrontations with the Israeli occupation.

Moreover, the movement reiterated its stance of ultimate support for the people of Gaza and the Palestinian Resistance and its commitment to defending Lebanon and its people, for which “our resistance and our nation have paid a heavy price in leadership, military, and material resources."

"This has included the forced displacement of hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians and mass destruction of private property and buildings," the statement further read.

It added that despite the occupation’s ongoing aggression, the Resistance is confident in its ability to confront the occupation and will continue to resist until victory, stressing that “the era of defeats has ended, and God's victory has arrived.”
