Earlier on Wednesday, Hezbollah confirmed that it had carried out an operation targeting an Israeli tank stationed at the "Avivim" military barracks.
In a statement, it said that Resistance fighters launched an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) at the tank and confirmed a direct impact, resulting in death and injuries among its crew.
Hezbollah has been targeting a number of Israeli occupation military bases near the Lebanese border using a range of different weapons. The attacks were halted on Thursday, however, the Resistance faction renewed its wide-scale operation on Friday.
According to Hezbollah's Military Media, the bases included: Ruwaisat al-Alam, al-Summaqah, and Zibdine, which are located in the occupied Shebaa Farms and the occupied Kfar Chouba hills, as well as al-Sadeh, "Misgav Am" and "Abu Dajja" outposts near the border.
The Resistance group confirmed that most of the technical hardware and equipment military sites were targeted with anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) and other appropriate weapons and confirmed direct hits.
Later, Hezbollah's Military Media released footage showing why the Resistance fighters were targeting "Israel's" military-grade surveillance systems along the border with Lebanon. The video depicts how these systems are used for spying and illegal surveillance purposes against Lebanon and its residents.
