Hezbollah's Operations Room: New phase of escalation, time will show
Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has intensified confrontations with Israeli occupation forces, causing significant casualties and equipment losses, including the destruction of tanks and drones, while transitioning to a new escalatory phase.
"In line with the directives of the Resistance leadership, the Islamic Resistance Operations Room announces the transition to a new, escalatory phase in the confrontation with the Israeli enemy, the details of which will unfold in the coming days," announced the statement released by Hezbollah's Operations Room.
According to the statement, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon continues to confront Israeli occupation forces seeking to invade Lebanon inflicting heavy losses upon them. Among the losses are equipment and personnel, including officers and soldiers.
Operations were conducted across the frontlines in southern Lebanon and reaching into IOF positions deep within occupied Palestine.
Since the start of ground operations along the frontlines near the Lebanese-Palestinian border, the Israeli occupation forces have deployed five military divisions, consisting of over 70,000 soldiers and officers, supported by hundreds of tanks and military vehicles.
In response, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon mobilized hundreds of fighters, prepared to repel any Israeli occupation incursion into southern Lebanese villages.
Ambush successful
The Islamic Resistance has reported significant confrontations between its fighters and Israeli occupation forces attempting to advance in the eastern and western sectors toward the villages of Odeisseh, Rmeish, Blida, Markaba, al-Qawzah, Ayita al-Shaab, and Ramyah. These areas have been subjected to heavy aerial and artillery bombardment by Israeli occupation forces.
However, the Resistance successfully lured Israeli soldiers into pre-prepared ambushes inside some of the border villages. Close-range battles, particularly in the towns of al-Qawzah and Rmeish, led to heavy Israeli casualties.
"Intense confrontations erupted at close range, particularly in the towns of al-Qawzah and Rmeish, resulting in the enemy suffering 10 dead, more than 150 injured, the destruction of 9 Merkava tanks, and 4 military bulldozers," the Resistance reported.
The escalation continued on the frontlines, while the Islamic Resistance's missiles and air forces targeted Israeli military positions and settlements.
Missiles strike deep, Air Force repels drones and warplanes
"The rocket force of the Islamic Resistance continues, in an escalating manner day by day, to target Israeli enemy concentrations at military posts and bases along the Lebanese-Palestinian border, as well as settlements and occupied cities in the north, extending to its military bases deep inside occupied Palestine," the Resistance stated. Precision-guided missiles, employed for the first time, have further intensified the confrontation the statement explained.
The Resistance’s air force has also launched drone strikes on enemy positions, while reconnaissance missions continue. Additionally, the air defense unit has managed to repel Israeli reconnaissance and combat aircraft.
"Islamic Resistance fighters in the air defense unit continue to repel Israeli military aircraft, both reconnaissance and combat, using appropriate weapons. They have successfully downed two reconnaissance drones of the Hermes 450 type," confirmed the Resistance.
According to the Resistance’s assessment, Israeli occupation forces have suffered approximately 55 deaths and over 500 injuries, alongside the destruction of 20 Merkava tanks, 4 bulldozers, an armored vehicle, and an armored personnel carrier. These figures exclude further losses at Israeli occupation military bases and posts deeper inside occupied Palestine.
