Hezbollah's Binyamina op. 'shook Israel' to the core: Israeli media
Israeli media reveal the shock and desperation "Israel", including its military leadership, felt when Hezbollah struck the Golani Brigade's base deep inside occupied territories.
Hezbollah's precise drone attack in the Golani Brigade's dining room in the Binyamina area, which led to the killing of four soldiers and the injuring of over 60 more, has shaken "Israel" and shocked the Israeli military's general leadership, the Israeli Walla website reported
The "disaster" at the Golani Brigade base South of Haifa reaffirms the incompetence of the Israeli security apparatus in facing drones, the website suggested.
"While the world learns important lessons from the war in Ukraine, the Israeli army is still trying to find solutions," Walla further indicated.
Similarly, the Israeli Maariv newspaper had previously described the operation as an extremely difficult, disturbing, disastrous, and problematic incident for the occupation forces, stressing that "Israel does not currently have a dedicated interception system to deal with drones launched into Israel from Lebanon, Gaza, Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Yemen."
The operation, coined "The Drone Disaster", has left behind feelings of extreme hurt, incapacity, and despair, the newspaper also said.

Earlier this week, Hezbollah's missile force launched tens of missiles at various targets in Nahariya and Akka to distract the Israeli air defense systems.
Hezbollah's air force then simultaneously deployed swarms of drones of various types, including some that were employed for the first time, toward Akka and Nahariya as well.
The drones successfully pierced through defense radars without being detected, reaching their military target: the training camp of the Golani Brigade in Binyamina, south of the occupied city of Haifa, and detonated in rooms where tens of Israeli occupation soldiers, including senior officers, were preparing to participate in the aggression against Lebanon.
Hezbollah warned "Israel" that what it witnessed in southern Haifa is only a small preview of what awaits it should it decide to persist with its aggression against Lebanon and its people.
