Al Mayadeen's correspondent in southern Lebanon reported that Israeli occupation jets carried out airstrikes targeting the Iqlim al-Tuffah region early this morning.
Hezbollah's operations were conducted while the Israeli occupation was being hit by dozens of Iranian drones and missiles launched by the IRGC's Aerospace Force in response to the consulate attack in Damascus two weeks ago.
The IRGC force said in a statement that the operation targeting Israeli military sites, dubbed "True Promise," came "in response to the numerous evil crimes of the Zionist regime," including the attack on the embassy. It also added that its forces, supported by other units of the Iranian Armed Forces, launched the "wide-ranging" military operation.
The statement pointed out that the attack targeted Israeli military sites that successfully hit and destroyed their targets.
"Details of this operation will soon draw the attention of the heroic Iranian people and the free peoples of the world," it concluded.
