Hezbollah warns of limits to patience over Israeli violations
Loyalty to the Resistance bloc, MP Hassan Ezzeddine, emphasized Hezbollah's commitment to defending Lebanon and called for action against Israeli violations.
Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc in Lebanon, MP Hassan Ezzeddine, stated that Hezbollah "will not remain silent about Israeli violations, and there are limits to patience," urging the committee responsible for monitoring the implementation of Resolution 1701 to "fulfill its responsibilities and duties."
Ezzeddine added that "Hezbollah remains committed to not violating the ceasefire agreement, while Israeli violations have exceeded 80."
In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Ezzeddine emphasized that "the occupation cannot tolerate diversity and coexistence," describing the battle with "Israel" as one that "extends beyond Lebanon's borders and shapes the future of the region."
He further affirmed, "We have won, the Resistance remains, continues, and will always be present to defend our land," stressing that "no one can diminish the significance of the victory achieved through steadfastness, survival, and the return that preceded the ceasefire."
On Monday, the Lebanese Islamic Resistance carried out a warning operation targeting an Israeli position in the occupied Kfar Chouba Hills, following repeated Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, and warned the Israeli occupation against further transgressions.
We remain patient, 'Israel' must end aggression: Qomati to Al Mayadeen
Mahmoud Qomati, Deputy head of Hezbollah's Political Council, confirmed on Wednesday that "the Resistance's response to Israeli occupation violations prompted widespread action to implement the ceasefire mechanism," adding that it "dealt a severe blow to the occupation."
In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Qomati stated that "the mechanism for implementing the ceasefire remains unclear" and criticized the US for being "lenient and allowing Israel to violate Lebanese territory without facing any repercussions."
In this context, Qomati emphasized that "the laxity of the committee overseeing the ceasefire is intentional," as "the enemy was allowed to accomplish what it failed to achieve during the aggression."
He added, "We are monitoring the actions of the committee. We are not satisfied with its performance, but we will respond if necessary to halt the aggression."
Qomati continued, "We have left matters over the past few days to the defense institutions, including the army, as well as other institutions, and the United Nations. So where are they?"
He added that "a genuine ceasefire must be established," emphasizing that "it is the enemy that needs this ceasefire."
