Hezbollah warns of malicious Israeli barcodes dropped in Beqaa valley
Hezbollah warned that "Israel" is dropping leaflets with malicious barcodes in the Beqaa Valley, designed to damage mobile devices by copying and deleting data once opened.
The Lebanese Resistance movement Hezbollah on Tuesday said that "Israel" had dropped leaflets containing a malicious barcode designed to damage mobile devices in the Beqaa Valley in eastern Lebanon.
"Hostile Zionists are dropping leaflets with a barcode in the Beqaa area and may do so in other areas. We urge you not to open or distribute the [ QR code] link, as it is extremely malicious," the movement Resistance movement said in a statement.
The data will be copied and subsequently deleted once the link is opened, the statement added.

Tensions have reached an all-time high after the Israeli regime carried out a series of attacks targeting communication devices, followed by an airstrike on a Beirut suburb and intensive airstrikes on southern and eastern regions of Lebanon.
The Health Ministry reports that the death toll has risen to 558, with 1,835 injured.
This morning, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that more than 500 people were wounded as a result of Israeli strikes on northern Bekaa, adding that ICU wards in hospitals are filled to capacity.
The Lebanese Resistance vowed a just retaliation for the martyrs and announced a series of operations strategic Israeli military bases and northern settlements "in defense of Lebanon and its people, and in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza and their Resistance."
Moments ago, "Israel's" Channel 12 broadcaster reported that eight heavy rockets struck the Rosh Pina settlement near Safad, with five hitting buildings.
