Hind Rajab Foundation files case against IOF soldier in Spain
Over recent months, the Belgium-based Hind Rajab Foundation has lodged numerous complaints against Israeli soldiers who participated in the genocide in Gaza.
The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF), a pro-Palestine advocacy group, has filed a legal complaint in Barcelona, Spain, against an Israeli soldier, continuing its efforts to hold Israeli forces accountable for their genocidal actions in Gaza.
The Belgium-based HRF announced on Saturday that the complaint targets Mori Keisar of the Givati Brigade, accusing him of war crimes, violations of international law, and the targeting of Palestinian civilians in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Referred to him as “Sergeant A” in the statement, the HRF noted, “The actions of Sergeant A and his platoon demonstrate systematic violations of international humanitarian law, targeting civilians and protected infrastructure.”

The legal filing accuses the soldier of “genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes.”
HRF stressed it has extensive evidence of Sergeant A’s crimes between January and March 2024. These include using a civilian home in Gaza for military operations, firing a grenade launcher at a clearly marked UN school in Gaza City, demolishing two civilian homes in Khan Younis, and engaging in indiscriminate shooting at civilian homes while being cheered on by other soldiers.
The organization also reported that Sergeant A’s platoon forcibly displaced civilians in Gaza.
“The Hind Rajab Foundation urges Spanish authorities to take immediate action by investigating and detaining Sergeant A to ensure accountability for the atrocities committed,” the statement said.
HRF initiated legal proceedings against Keisar in partnership with the Palestinian Community in Catalonia, relying on evidence linking him to multiple war crimes.
Hind Rajab Foundation demands arrest of IOF general in Rome
Last week, the Hind Rajab Foundation demanded the immediate arrest of an Israeli general, Ghassan Alian, the Head of the Coordinator of Government Activities Coordinator in the Territories (COGAT.)
The foundation reported it filed proceedings with the International Criminal Court (ICC) and Italian authorities, calling for his immediate arrest for genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes.
Alian, who openly referred to Palestinians in Gaza as "human animals," is not immune from punishment, the foundation contends. "Time is of the essence to ensure accountability for his actions," the foundation urged.
IOF hide soldier identities fearing legal consequences abroad
A Ynet report published earlier this month revealed that an IOF soldier fled Brazil after complaints were lodged against soldiers in Thailand, Chile, and other nations. That said, the Hind Rajab Foundation’s global pursuit of IOF soldiers involved in the Gaza war is now extending into Europe.

The Hind Rajab Foundation announced Thursday that it had filed a complaint in Sweden against an IOF soldier for war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide in Gaza. According to the foundation, the soldier, a Nahal Brigade fighter, is currently in Sweden.
The group wrote, "He may leave the country soon, we demand his immediate arrest."
The foundation included evidence with the complaint, including a photograph of the soldier using his sniper rifle in Gaza on March 1, according to the report.
According to the complaint, eyewitnesses and journalists reported that civilians were killed with such weapons, stressing that the unit he served in participated in the vandalism of Palestinian homes and raids into hospitals, such as the Shifa Hospital in Gaza.
