The Israeli occupation continues to escalate its aggression against Palestinian homes, demolishing entire neighborhoods in al-Quds.
In only one week, the Israeli occupation demolished seven housing units and a community center in the town of Silwan in occupied al-Quds, evicting 30 Palestinians from them, according to a report by Haaretz.
The Israeli newspaper revealed, quoting the Ir Amim Association, that "the demolition of the homes in occupied al-Quds aims to demolish the entire al-Bustan neighborhood," thus displacing 1,500 of its residents.

Since the start of 2024, Israeli occupation authorities have intensified their actions against Palestinians in occupied al-Quds, demolishing dozens of homes and facilities.
According to a report from the al-Quds Governorate, the occupation carried out 15 demolition and bulldozing operations in occupied al-Quds during October, bringing the total number of demolitions to 355 between October 7, 2023, and October 31, 2024.
Palestinian and international human rights organizations have confirmed that the occupation authorities "deliberately restrict the issuance of building permits to Palestinians in occupied al-Quds" as part of an effort to reduce the Palestinian population in the city.
In contrast, these organizations report that the occupation authorities have accelerated settlement construction in the occupied city.
