Infighting in Israeli Golani Brigade leaves wounded
A commentator on military Israeli affairs reveals that three Israeli occupation soldiers were wounded during infighting in the Golani Brigade of the IOF.
Israeli journalist and military affairs commentator Carmela Menashe revealed undisclosed information about three IOF soldiers who were wounded and received medical treatment.
The soldiers were wounded due to a huge fight that took place Thursday in the 13th battalion of the IOF's Golani Brigade in Tsalim base, Menashe reported, adding that the quarrel erupted between two companies.
The fight saw soldiers throwing stones and other random objects such as utensils and pots at each other, while officers took care of separating them, the commentator reported.
The Israeli occupation forces announced Wednesday that two Israeli commando officers were killed in the Jordan Valley while undergoing training in the area.
IOF spokesperson Avichay Adraee said the cause behind their deaths was an alleged accidental fire stemming from misidentification.
According to Yedioth Ahoronoth, a soldier's miscalculations led the officers to their death. After a day of training in the Nabi Musa district, the two officers patrolled around the camp and identified a suspicious figure.
