4 Injured in Saudi Arabia After Drone Targeted Abha Airport
The Saudi coalition announced that a drone coming from Yemen targeted Saudi Arabia's Abha airport, leaving 4 workers injured.
Four workers in Saudi Arabia's Abha International Airport sustained minor injuries, while the airport endured material damage after a drone strike targeted the premises, state media reported.
The 4 workers sustained injuries from debris yielded by the drone after the Saudi-led coalition intercepted it, Saudi Press Agency said.
The Saudi-led coalition reportedly said it destroyed a site in Saada, Yemen, from which they suspected the drone was launched.
On August 31, a drone hit the same airport, leaving 8 people injured and damaging an aircraft.
The Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced Wednesday that the Yemeni Armed Forces downed a Saudi reconnaissance aircraft over the Ma'rib governorate airspace.
