Former Greek Economy Minister Yanis Varoufakis says Hamas aren't criminals; it is rather European leaders who are criminals for being silent about apartheid and occupation all these years.
Hundreds around the world have taken to the streets in pro-Palestine demonstrations extending solidarity with the Palestinian people and expressing support for the Resistance in Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in Capetown, South Africa, to express solidarity with Palestinians after Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
The head of the United Ulema Council of South Africa, Abdul Khaliq Ibrahim Ali, said, “Recently, we have seen how the Zionists treat Christians, so it is not only an Islamic cause. It is an issue of human rights being violated, and living freely is prohibited.”

Tehran, Iran
On Saturday, thousands of Iranians gathered in the capital, Tehran, to celebrate the historic Palestinian military Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. They raised Palestinian flags, displayed images of al-Aqsa Mosque, and chanted slogans in support of Palestine and al-Aqsa Mosque.
The iconic Azadi Tower in the capital Tehran was adorned with the phrase Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, the Palestinian flag, and the word al-Quds for the same occasion.

Saada, Yemen
The Yemeni city of Saada witnessed on Sunday a massive public rally in support of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood that the Palestinian Resistance launched on Saturday against the Israeli occupation.
During the rally, the crowds raised the Yemeni and Palestinian flags, banners, and slogans emphasizing the Yemeni people’s full support for the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance in the face of the arrogance and crimes of the Israeli occupation.

The statement of the Saada rally confirmed its support for Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, adding that the operation is the battle of the entire nation and all free people of the world, which marks the time of "Israel's" humiliation.
Istanbul, Turkey
On Sunday, thousands in Turkey partook in a march in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance.

Demonstrations in support of Palestine were held across cities in the West including Washington, New York, Chicago, Manchester, Berlin, and Sydney.
Additionally, Yanis Varoufakis, Marxist philosopher and former Greek economy Minister, told Redstream in an interview that “those who try very hard to extract a condemnation of the attack by Hamas” from him or his movement DiEM25 will “never get it."

Varoufakis said, “The criminals here are not Hamas…the criminals are Europeans” for remaining silent “as long as it’s Palestinians who die and not the occupiers."
Varoufakis urged Europeans to “redeem ourselves” by pushing for peace via “the destruction of the state of apartheid."
