IOF admit death of soldier during confrontations in Gaza
The number of deaths among occupation soldiers in the Gaza Strip continues to rise, with the Israeli army admitting the death of another soldier.
Israeli media outlets stated that an Israeli reserve soldier succumbed to injuries sustained in the Gaza Strip, highlighting that after his initial injury, he developed a severe fungal infection.
The Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth website reported that the soldier was even given an experimental drug, but this did not save his life.
Earlier on Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces confirmed that a soldier was killed in battles in the southern Gaza Strip amid fierce resistance from the Palestinian Resistance. The dead IOF soldier, from the 924th Engineering Battalion of the Harel Brigade, was killed in battles in the southern Gaza Strip on Saturday, as per the Israeli army.
Israeli media reported at the beginning of January that around 1600 soldiers have suffered from symptoms of distress and shell shock since the beginning of the war on Gaza. Reports from the Israeli health institution unveiled a significant prevalence of infections and fungal growth on the feet of soldiers who returned from battles in Gaza.
The number of Israeli troops killed since the start of the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip now exceeds 220 soldiers, as per Israeli media, raising the number of killed troops since October 7 to more than 560.
