Sheikh Qassem: Resistance is a source of power for Lebanon that must be preserved.
Sheikh Qassem: "Israel" must implement the agreement as Lebanon has already done so, and any new accord would amount to absolving it and opening the door to further attacks.
Sheikh Qassem: We do not wish to assume anyone's role; those accusing us of this must cease their accusations.
Sheikh Qassem: We will recover our lands through national solidarity; Resistance's goal is national liberation, while enemy goal is occupation.
Sheikh Qassem: Protection of sovereignty protects Lebanon. It is in real danger because of US belligerence, greedy Israeli expansion.
Qassem to Lebanese people: We are not asking for support but for us not to be stabbed in the back in the back or for some to serve Israeli interests; government is primary party responsible for [preservation of] sovereignty.
Sheikh Qassem: "Israel" can occupy, but it cannot persist in occupation of our land.
Sheikh Qassem: Intimidation will not change our stance of resistance and steadfastness. We are not advocates of surrender or defeat, and we will never accept it.
Sheikh Qassem: Where does US stand regarding enemy's unjustified assassination of a government worker and other civilian martyrs?

Israeli media reported on Thursday that Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested a 20-year-old resident of the city of Rahat for allegedly carrying out a ramming attack in Bir Al-Sabe', which moderately injured an 18-year-old IOF soldier.

Israeli media claimed the Palestinian youth drove his car on the sidewalk and rammed the soldier, leaving him with bruises and wounded limbs.

In a separate context, the IOF launched on Thursday a new campaign of arrests in separate areas of occupied Al-Quds and the West Bank in parallel with imposing a comprehensive closure on Jenin Governorate, closing Al-Jalama and Salem military checkpoints until further notice.

According to security sources, the Israeli occupation prevented the movement of goods and commodities, the movement of Palestinian workers into the '48 occupied territories, and the entry of the Palestinians from the '48 occupied territories into Jenin Governorate until further notice.

Earlier, Palestinian sources reported that the Israeli occupation received at Salem checkpoint, at dawn Thursday, the body of Israeli Tiran Fero, who was killed in a traffic accident in Jenin in the occupied West Bank, following negotiations with Palestinian Resistance fighters in coordination with the Palestinian Authority.

According to the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, the Resistance fighters captured the body of Fero, 18, after they stopped an ambulance belonging to the Palestinian Red Crescent that was on its way to deliver it to the occupation.
