IOF besiege Tulkarm, detain press crews, disrupt internet networks
The Israeli occupation forces imposed a curfew and besieged Tulkarm and its two camps, but that did not stop the Resistance from confronting the Israeli occupation forces raiding the West Bank city in occupied Palestine.
The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades announced on Tuesday morning that its fighters had confronted Israeli occupation forces during their incursion into Askar camp, east of Nablus in the West Bank, confirming successful engagements.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, Israeli occupation forces wounded a Palestinian man and three children with gunfire during their attack on the camp.

In the broader context of ongoing Israeli aggression against West Bank cities, occupation forces also raided Tulkarm city and its two camps, Tulkarm camp and Nur Shams camp, damaging infrastructure and imposing a curfew.
Activist Hamza Hamdan informed Al Mayadeen that the Resistance targeted Israeli forces with an explosive device near Nur Shams camp.
A significant number of occupation vehicles and heavy bulldozers entered the city from the western axis, accompanied by frequent low-altitude reconnaissance flights overhead.
Occupation patrols were active throughout the city streets, particularly al-Mourabitin Mosque Street, al-Alimi and Khadduri roundabouts, near al-Israa Specialist Hospital, Nablus Street, and the eastern neighborhoods leading to Tulkarm refugee camp.

Additional reinforcements were dispatched to all city entrances, notably the Jabara military checkpoint in the south, the Annab military checkpoint in the east, and the Nitzani Oz gate west of Tulkarm.
Later developments saw Israeli occupation forces surrounding Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital and Al-Israa Specialized Hospital in the city.
Reports indicated that IOF snipers were deployed on high-rise buildings across various neighborhoods, while they conducted a heavy gunfire operation in the al-Aqsa neighborhood on the outskirts of Shweika, north of Tulkarm.
Occupation forces besieged the Tulkarm refugee camp and intensified patrols at all entrances, particularly the northern, eastern, and southern points.

Additionally, reports surfaced that Israeli occupation forces detained press crews covering events near the al-Younis roundabout in the city's northern neighborhood, confiscating their identity cards. At Shweika roundabout, they stopped and searched a civilian vehicle, checking the identities of its passengers, although no detentions were reported.
It is also noteworthy that occupation forces disrupted internet networks in the city and its camps.
