Last night, a large force of Israeli occupation troops stormed the eastern area of Nablus city in the northern West Bank, preparing for settlers to raid Qaber Youssef (Joseph's Tomb) and perform Talmudic rituals.

According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, the Palestinian Resistance confronted the invading Israeli occupation forces around Balata camp and the eastern area of Nablus.

In turn, al-Quds Brigades in Nablus announced that they were engaged in intense confrontations with the raiding Israeli occupation forces and emphasized targeting them with gunfire and explosives east of the city, near al-Rawda College, and on Amman Street.

In parallel, a young Palestinian man was injured by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire, while five others were detained in the city of al-Bireh in the West Bank.

The Israeli occupation has intensified its aggression on West Bank cities since October 7, 2023, coinciding with its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip. Reportedly, the Israeli occupation fears that the West Bank has the potential outbreak of a new intifada.

Israeli occupation forces detained 15 Palestinians overnight and this morning in the occupied West Bank, including a former detainee, confirmed the Palestinian Prisoners Society and the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs.

According to their joint statement on Telegram, this brings the total number of Palestinians detained in the West Bank to 9,535 since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza on October 7, 2023.

The statement indicated that the detainments took place in the governorates of Qalqilya, al-Khalil, Ramallah, Areeha, and the eastern part of occupied al-Quds, and were accompanied by home raids and property damage.

In a separate incident, local sources said that Israeli occupation forces shot and injured a Palestinian youth on al-Quds Street in the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus in the West Bank.

Ahmed Jibril, the spokesperson for the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), confirmed that ambulance crews provided medical treatment to a 30-year-old man who sustained a gunshot wound to the thigh inflicted by Israeli occupation forces, the WAFA news agency reported.

Jibril added that the injured man was transported to a hospital for further treatment.

Additionally, WAFA reported that the Israeli occupation forces detained four Palestinians from Qibya, west of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

In details, the news agency said the Israeli occupation forces raided the homes of Qusay Walid Ghaythan, Yassin Musa al-Ajrab, Baraa Ibrahim Shaker, and Mohammad Hassan, detaining all four Palestinians.

Local media also documented Israeli raids in several areas across the occupied West Bank, including Deir Abu Daif, east of Jenin, Ras Khamis, in the Shufat refugee camp, north of the eastern part of occupied al-Quds, the Aqbat Jabr refugee camp in Areeha, and the city of Nablus.

This comes a day after the Israeli occupation forces killed seven Palestinians and injured several others during a raid into the city of Jenin, which saw the occupation forces bombing a group of youths near al-Awda Roundabout, in the Jenin refugee camp.
