IOF bomb clinics, surgical department in Indonesian Hospital: Gaza
The number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 13,300.
As Israeli bombardment of anything in sight in Gaza continues, the situation of hospitals and healthcare facilities in the Strip continues to deteriorate.
"We cannot ignore or count the victims of the Israeli bombing," stated Dr. Munir al-Bursh, Director-General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, from the Indonesian Hospital on Monday.
He added, "The occupation destroyed some parts of the Indonesian Hospital, and the remaining parts were targeted with snipers," highlighting that "approximately 650 wounded individuals are at the Indonesian Hospital, surpassing its full capacity of 140 beds".
While he pointed out that “many tried to leave the Indonesian hospital and that the Israeli drones targeted them,” he described how “the occupation bombed the hospital’s clinics and surgical departments and destroyed the equipment and [how] the bodies were piled up.”
He also highlighted that "Israeli snipers are positioned on top of all surrounding buildings, targeting any movement," expressing concern about the possibility of additional massacres.
Al-Bursh explained that there are over 100 patients in the Indonesian Hospital in need of urgent surgeries amid a shortage in the medical staff, warning that "the occupation's targeting of the Indonesian Hospital signifies the halt of all health services in northern Gaza."
Regarding the fuel shortage and electricity shortage, the Director-General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza explained, "We are making efforts to conserve electricity and have switched to using soybean oil instead of fuel to power the generators."
More than 13,300 killed
In this context, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that several Palestinians were martyred and injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house in Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The government media office in Gaza, in a somber update, announced that the number of Palestinians killed exceeded 13,300, encompassing more than 5,600 children and 3,550 women since the onset of the Israeli aggression until now—an unrelenting and tragic statistic.

The health spokesperson in Gaza revealed earlier today that only four hospitals are currently operational in the Strip, and they are at a critical minimum. If aid does not arrive, there is an imminent risk of them going out of service. The spokesperson emphasized that approximately 700 wounded individuals, along with medical staff, are still inside Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
The media office of the Palestinian Interior reported casualties due to the occupation's targeting of displaced individuals as they were leaving the Indonesian Hospital.
