IOF carry out arrest campaign in Yatta, Jenin, Beit Lahm
The Israeli occupation forces carry out a mass arrest campaign against Palestinian youths in various Palestinian regions.
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested Tuesday two Palestinian youths, one of whom is a freed prisoner from Tulkarm.
Local sources told Wafa news agency that the IOF arrested freed prisoner Shadi Jaar, and Islam Al-Saai after raiding their houses and vandalizing their belongings.
In Nablus, IOF arrested Adam Farraj after raiding and ransacking his house.
Security sources added that the IOF raided the town of Yatta, seized two vehicles, and arrested Qutaiba Nawaja'a, Thaer Nawaja'a, Mohammad Harizat, Shadi Al-Amour, and Hammouda Dais.
In addition, the IOF set up military checkpoints at the entrances to the towns of Si'ir and Halhul, and at the northern entrance to the city of Al-Khalil.
The IOF also arrested Qusai Jarrar, from the town of Jaba, south of Jenin, while he was in the '48 occupied Palestinian territories.
In the same context, Israeli occupation forces intensified their presence in the south of Jenin at dawn Tuesday and placed barriers in the vicinity of Arraba, Ya'bad, Marka, Fahmeh, Sanur, and Bir Al-Basha.
Also at dawn, the IOF arrested Anas Sabateen, Uday Abu Alia, and Rami Al-Lahham from Dheisheh Refugee Camp, south of Beit Lahm, while they were near the Murad junction on the western side of the city.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent stated on Monday that five Palestinians were injured and five others were detained as they stood up to an attempt by the IOF to infiltrate the Jenin camp.
According to Wafa news agency, four civilians, including a child, were injured, and five others were detained, as Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Jenin.
The Jenin Brigades confirmed that it had targeted the IOF and its military vehicles near the camp in the occupied West Bank.
The Brigades added that its Resistance fighters opened fire and used explosive devices to target the IOF in Duwar Al-Cinema and Al-Nasera street.
This came after the Khalil Suleiman Governmental Hospital in Jenin announced the martyrdom of Hamad Abu Jeldah, 24, from Jenin, after succumbing to wounds he sustained by IOF gunfire last Tuesday. That was followed by the PIJ publishing Abu Jeldah's obituary and praising the Palestinian heroes and freedom fighters whose battlefields are expanding in the occupied West Bank.
