IOF, compelled by resistance, prevents settlers from storming Al-Aqsa
The Israeli occupation forces set up metal barriers in the Old City, occupied Al-Quds, and Israeli media reported on clashes between IOF and settlers.
Hundreds of settlers are trying to storm Bab Al-Amoud in occupied Al-Quds, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported Wednesday, noting that the Israeli occupation forces are trying to prevent Israeli settlers from progressing toward Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Palestinians have gathered in Bab Al-Amoud to confront the settlers' attempts at storming the area, and the IOF is trying to force the young Palestinians gathering there into backing down and withdrawing from the area.
Our correspondent also noted that Israeli media was broadcasting and publishing alerts that a flag march would be harmful to all parties.
However, this attempted flag march is reportedly different from the one that sparked Seif Al-Quds Battle last year, as the traditional one will be held at the end of next month as per an official decree.
"Today's march, as per the organizers, is a response to the Palestinians' resistance to the Israeli attempts to storm Al-Aqsa," Al Mayadeen's correspondent added.
The flag march organized by settlers saw the Israeli occupation forces deploying steel barriers all over the Old City to restrict the movement of Christian worshippers and pilgrims.
The march was also attended by far-right Israeli Knesset member Itamar Ben-Gvir, and it is seeing hundreds upon hundreds of settlers waving Israeli flags and chanting racist slogans against Palestinians, Muslims, and Arabs.

Earlier, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in occupied Palestine reported that the Israeli occupation forces assaulted Palestinian women that had been stationed in the Al-Aqsa mosque in a bid to protect it against attacks from Israeli settlers and stormings.
The Palestinian parties and resistance factions held Tuesday a meeting in the Gaza Strip at the request of Hamas Gaza Strip chief Yahya Al-Sinwar to assess the previous period and address the means of overcoming the challenges that will face occupied Palestine in the coming period and the dangers it could pose to the Palestinian people and their sanctities.
After the meeting was concluded, the Palestinian resistance factions announced raising the level of alert among its ranks and at all levels in case of any new Israeli assaults on the Al-Aqsa mosque and as a precaution against the Israeli occupation and its settlers committing any "idiotic acts."
The resistance also warned against the Israeli far-right carrying out any provocative flag marches, which were one of the main motives behind the Seif Al-Quds Battle last year.
