Today at dawn, Israeli aircraft bombed Rafah, southern Gaza, and Deir al-Balah, in the center of Gaza, murdering at least 14 Palestinians and injuring dozens of others.

As the occupation continues its deliberate targeting of Palestinian homes, 10 Palestinians were martyred and at least 10 others were injured due to Israeli aircraft bombing a house in Deir al-Balah. In addition,12 Palestinians were also martyred and others were injured as a result of further Israeli aircraft bombing of two houses near the Abu Al-Saeed Junction in Tal Al-Sultan and the Saudi neighborhood west of Rafah, south of Gaza.

Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in the Gaza Strip reported in parallel that an Israeli artillery shelling targeted east of Rafah, south of the Strip.

A Palestinian journalist, Nafez Abdel Jawad, and his son were also martyred by an Israeli raid on Deir al-Balah.

Ongoing Israeli genocide against Gaza for the fifth month

Due to the ongoing Israeli genocide against Palestinians, there is an unprecedented rise in the number of martyrs, 70% of whom are women and children, and 2.3 million Palestinians, nearly 90% of the Gaza Strip's population, have been displaced worsening the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Yesterday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip revealed that the IOF committed 16 massacres against families in Gaza, murdering 123 Palestinians and injuring 169 others in 24 hours.

The Ministry emphasized that many martyred and injured Palestinians were still under the rubble and on the roads, as the occupation prevented ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.

As of yesterday, the ministry reported the number of Palestinians martyred rose to 27,708 and 67,147 others injured stressing that 11,000 wounded and sick Palestinians are in dire and urgent need of leaving the Strip to save their lives.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society also called to end the occupation’s siege on Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis, sheltering and treating about 220 people.

Earlier, UNRWA confirmed that 84% of health facilities in the besieged Gaza Strip were either destroyed or damaged by Israeli attacks.
