The Israeli occupation's army declared, this morning, four new deaths among its forces, and six serious injuries, in the ongoing ground battles with the Palestinian Resistance in the South and Center of the Gaza Strip.

Under the “permitted to publish” clause, occupation media announced the names of the dead revealed their ranks, and the units and formations in which they worked, the places of the battles in which they were killed, and provided details about those injured during those battles.

The Israeli newspaper Maariv declared that dead and wounded soldiers fell last night in separate battles, two of which were in the southern Gaza Strip, and another two in the center of the Strip. A corporal in the IOF who was part of the 94th Battalion was also killed.

In another confrontation in the south of the Gaza Strip, two sergeants from the 8219 Engineering Battalion, were both killed. Another soldier from the same Battalion was severely injured.

During a confrontation with the Resistance in the central Gaza Strip, a sergeant in the Israeli Army Reserve, from an engineering battalion belonging to the 36th Division, was also killed. In addition, an officer and two troops from the same battalion were seriously injured. Two reserve officers in the 646th Brigade of the occupation forces were seriously injured as well.

Humiliation: the IOF's one true home

On Monday, the occupation army announced the killing of nine of its officers and troops in two Palestinian resistance attacks in the Gaza Strip within just 24 hours.

The Israeli military establishment imposes strict control on the publication of the numbers of dead and injured members of the troops, in an attempt to hide the large losses it suffers among its ranks during the ongoing and escalating battles with the Palestinian resistance.

The extent of the losses incurred by the occupation forces during ground battles in the fighting fronts is evident through the accurate statements issued by the Palestinian resistance, and the video clips documenting its targeting, directing qualitative strikes, and placing the invading forces in precise ambushes.

The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced in a brief statement that its fighters were able to snipe an Israeli soldier and kill him with a Qassam “Ghoul” rifle, east of the Bureij refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip.

The Brigades also announced that it had thwarted an Israeli attempt to liberate one of the occupation’s prisoners in the Bureij camp, explaining that “an Israeli special force infiltrated a place where the occupation believed an Israeli prisoner was inside, and it was confronted and its mission was thwarted, killing and wounding its members, and seizing some of their belongings.”
