The national campaign to retrieve the bodies of martyrs reports that the Israeli occupation authorities are withholding the bodies of male and female martyrs.
The national campaign to retrieve the bodies of martyrs reported on Sunday that the Israeli occupation authorities have been holding the bodies of three martyrs since the morning after their execution in al-Khalil and Tubas.
The national campaign detailed that the martyrs are Mohammad Majd Mousa Jabareen (19) and Mousa Mahmoud Mousa Jabareen (18) from al-Khalil and Manal Faza Abu Alyan Sawafta (40) from Tubas.

With the detention of these martyrs, the tally of bodies held by the occupation authorities in cemeteries and morgues has increased to 497 martyrs, comprising 26 prisoners, 51 children, and six female martyrs.
The campaign pointed out that these figures do not encompass martyrs detained in the Gaza Strip since the commencement of the war, as there has been no information regarding their status.

In this context, the family of martyred Palestinian detainee Walid Daqqa denounced Sunday the Israeli occupation's continued detention of his body after the Israeli Supreme Court said the authorities need "more time" to complete the required procedures for his release.
The Israeli occupation said the release was postponed until May 5, though it is not unlikely that it gets postponed once again.
The family of martyr Daqqa announced that the occupation was still withholding his body, explaining that the decision to hand over the body lies with Israeli Police Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
