Israeli occupation forces launched Monday a series of airstrikes targeting several areas across Lebanon, in continuation of their aggression on the country.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent said an Israeli raid targeted the town of Aitou in the Zgharta District, northern Lebanon, resulting in 18 martyrs and four injuries, with the toll expected to rise.

The strike marked the second time "Israel" targets the North, after an attack on Deir Billa in Batroun.
