IOF impose security cordon on West Bank, close Gaza crossings
Fearing any further escalation, Israeli occupation forces decide to besiege the already besieged occupied territories.
Israeli media reported on Sunday that the Israeli occupation imposed a comprehensive security cordon on the occupied West Bank and closed the crossings with the Gaza Strip until the next day at midnight.
The Israeli Makan channel reported that the security establishment has imposed a comprehensive security cordon on Judaea and Samaria and closed the crossings with the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli channel confirmed that the cordon will be lifted the next day at midnight and that the security services have not yet decided whether or not to extend it over the days of the "Jewish Sukkot Parachute Festival," following yesterday's operation at the Shuafat military checkpoint, north of occupied Al-Quds.
This comes at a time when the occupation fears an escalation of operations in occupied Al-Quds and throughout the occupied West Bank.
Israeli media confirmed that an Israeli occupation soldier was killed and two others were wounded in a shooting that targeted the Shuafat military checkpoint in occupied Al-Quds.
The Israeli media outlets detailed that a speeding car approached the Shuafat camp checkpoint the passengers opened fire at the soldiers stationed at the place, wounding two Israeli soldiers and killing one. The car managed to exit the shooting site, and a search operation in pursuit of the shooters is underway.
