The Palestinian Resistance factions in the Gaza Strip are waging fierce battles against the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) advancing into several areas inside the Gaza Strip.

The IOF have so far incurred heavy losses across the Strip. The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced that its fighters targeted three IOF Merkava tanks using al-Yassin 105 RPGs east of the Jabalia camp, in the northern Gaza Strip. Additionally, the group announced that its snipers successfully targeted an occupation soldier in the place.

In the Tal al-Zaatar area, al-Qassam fighters also targeted an Israeli Merkava tank using al-Yassin 105 charge.

In Beit Hanoun, still in the northern part of the Strip, the IOF were heavily confronted by the Resistance and had incurred multiple losses.

According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza, the occupation failed for two weeks to enter Jabalia from the north and east axes due to the Resistance's heroic battles.

Center

As for the central Gaza Strip, the al-Qassam Brigades targeted an Israeli force consisting of 12 soldiers barricaded inside a building in the al-Daraj neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City, with two anti-personnel charges and a number of hand grenades. During the same confrontations, the Resistance successfully destroyed two Israeli occupation tanks and a military bulldozer.

Al-Qassam bombarded a grouping of occupation forces in the al-Mughraqa area in the central Gaza Strip with mortar shells. In the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, the Resistance targeted an Israeli vehicle carrying seven soldiers using Al-Yassin 105 charges and completely destroyed it.

The Saraya area of Gaza City also witnessed fierce confrontations where al-Qassam Brigades confirmed the killing of four Israeli occupation soldiers and the injuring of several others. Similarly, in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood, the al-Qassam Brigades destroyed an Israeli tank and two military bulldozers.

Al-Qassam fighters were also able to target eight Israeli occupation vehicles in the Sabra and Tal al-Hawa areas, and then confronted the Israeli occupation's rescue units with machine guns and grenades, leaving them dead and wounded.

South

In the southern Gaza Strip, al-Qassam announced the targeting of two Israeli occupation tanks and a troops carrier with a Shawaz, an armor-piercing explosive device, and an al-Yassin 105 charge, north of the city of Khan Younis, in addition to targeting two Israeli Merkava tanks using the same-type RPG east of the city.

In the same context, al-Qassam fighters announced they booby-trapped the entrance of a tunnel east of the city of Khan Younis, and as soon as an IOF advanced in its direction, it was blown up resulting in a number of confirmed casualties.

Significantly, al-Qassam had published scenes of its fighters confronting Israeli occupation vehicles and infantry on the outskirts of the city of Khan Younis.

East of Jabalia camp, the al-Quds Brigades confronted an invading Israeli force and also left five of it killed and injured.

In the al-Zaytoun neighborhood, the Brigades used mortar shells to target a military grouping for Israeli occupation and targeted a couple of Israeli tanks and a troop carrier using tandem charges.

In parallel, the Israeli occupation's air force continues to heavily bombard the region east of the Khan Younis governorate, south of the Strip.

As for the Israeli occupation forces' death toll, the Israeli occupation has put the most recent number since the start of the ground operation at 136.
