The al-Quds Brigades - Jenin Brigade announced that its fighters are engaged in fierce battles with Israeli occupation forces on the combat fronts in the town of Qabatiya.

In a statement, the Brigades said its fighters are showering the Israeli infantry forces with heavy volleys of bullets.

Simultaneously, the Israel Uncensored news website reported initial news of an Israeli soldier being injured in the confrontations in Qabatiya.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that three Palestinians were killed due to the Israeli occupation forces' attacks on Qabatiya, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

Israeli occupation forces stormed Qabatiya, surrounding several Palestinian homes and firing Energa shells at one of them, our correspondent said, adding that the bodies of several martyrs were on the rooftop of one of the houses after being targeted by the occupation forces, who also prevented ambulance crews from reaching the injured.

Qabatiya witnessed on Wednesday confrontations between Palestinian Resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces. The al-Quds Brigades – Jenin Brigade confirmed that its Qabatiya groups had discovered an Israeli special force attempting to besiege a house, which led to intense confrontations.

The al-Quds Brigades also confirmed that its fighters targeted an Israeli military vehicle with an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), inflicting direct hits on its occupants.

'Israel' seizes seven dunams, 739 square meters from Beit Lid, east of Tulkarm

In a related context, the Israeli occupation authorities have issued notices for the seizure of seven dunams and 739 square meters of land from the town of Beit Lid, located east of Tulkarm, in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

Ma'an Rashid, one of the landowners, emphasized that the threat lies not only in the seizure of these seven dunams but in the broader danger posed to hundreds of dunams from neighboring villages. This move, he said, is part of a larger colonial scheme to connect the Israeli Anab and Avnei Hefetz settlements.

Rashid added that the timing of this decision is aimed at restricting farmers just as the olive harvest season begins, preventing them from accessing their lands.

He further noted that the town's lands have been subjected to ongoing attacks and violations by Israeli forces and settlers. The most recent incident occurred three weeks ago when a huge area of olive groves was set ablaze.

Rashid also highlighted that since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation forces and settlers have barred farmers from accessing the targeted Abu Luqa mountain area.
