One Palestinian was martyred and two others were injured, one of whom was arrested, during an incursion by Israeli occupation forces into the town of Salem, east of Nablus, on Sunday. According to Adli Shtayyeh, head of the Salem Village Council, confrontations erupted between Palestinian youths men and occupation forces, who opened live fire on civilians and residential homes.
The Red Crescent Society confirmed that it received the body of a martyr from one of two homes besieged by the occupation forces.
The identity of the martyr has not yet been disclosed. However, two other civilians were injured: one, a 62-year-old man, was transported by ambulance, while the other was arrested despite his injuries. Additionally, the occupation forces seized a Palestinian's civilian vehicle during the operation.
In a related development, Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Nablus through the Awarta checkpoint, raiding a house in the upper suburb during the incursion. Meanwhile, in Qalqilya, confrontations erupted as forces stormed the city from the eastern entrance and advanced along Nablus Street.
In al-Khalil, multiple arrests took place alongside incursions into the al-Arroub camp and the town of Beit Ummar. Additionally, a military checkpoint was established near the Sa'ir junction.
Settler violence target Palestinian shepherds in Jordan Valley
In Beit Lahm, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of al-Khader, firing tear gas canisters at Palestinian homes, injuring several civilians, including children.
Incursions and arrests were also carried out in al-Mazra'a al-Gharbiya, north of Ramallah, and the Shuweika suburb of Tulkarm, further contributing to the wave of repression sweeping the occupied West Bank.
In the northern Jordan Valley, settlers launched an attack on Palestinian shepherds in the al-Farisiya area. They chased livestock and harassed residents in what local sources described as an escalation aimed at forcibly displacing Palestinian communities to pave the way for settlement expansion.
These developments mark an ongoing pattern of aggressive Israeli occupation tactics, with coordinated raids, arrests, and settler assaults targeting Palestinian civilians and infrastructure across multiple regions of the West Bank.
