According to Israeli media, an ambush set up by the IOF resulted in the death of two Palestinians after they allegedly opened fire toward a military checkpoint in Elon Moreh in Nablus. Casualties were recorded in the area.

One Palestinian from Deir Al-Hatab sustained injuries after the Israeli occupation forces opened indiscriminate fire in the area, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported.

Moreover, the Israeli occupation prevented an ambulance from reaching the scene where another Palestinian was injured, local Palestinian sources said.

Moreover, they noted that an armed confrontation took place between resistance fighters and the Israeli occupation forces in the Palestinian town.

The two young men were murdered by the Israeli occupation less than 24 hours after 15-year-old Palestinian Mohammed Bilhan was shot by Israeli occupation forces during their storming of the Aqabat Jaber camp in Areeha.

The Israeli aggression also resulted in the injury of four Palestinians who were transferred to hospitals, and five others were arrested.

With Bilhan's martyrdom, the number of Palestinians murdered by the IOF in 2023 rose to 96, including 18 children and one woman. With the two young men murdered Tuesday, the tally rose to 98.

On Saturday night, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that Ahed Azzam Salim, a 16-year-old, from Azzun in Qalqilya, was murdered by the occupation forces while defending his hometown against the IOF raid.

Our correspondent reported that the martyrdom of Salim was due to severe injuries he had sustained from the occupation forces, in the east of Qalqilya, after being shot by more than 5 bullets in the abdomen and chest.

The Palestinian adolescents' martyrdom sparked anger among the town's youth, who gathered for his funeral in front of his house.

Nablus has seen an uptick in resistance operations, with the Israeli occupation admitting that while storming Al-Ain camp in Nablus in the early hours of the morning, one officer and one soldier were injured after confrontations with Resistance fighters protecting the city. The assault on the camp led to the arrest of one Palestinian.
