IOF prevent Palestinians from performing Friday prayers in al-Quds

The Israeli occupation forces imposed strict measures at military checkpoints separating the northern and southern West Bank from al-Quds, preventing Palestinian worshippers from entering the city to perform the first Friday prayers of Ramadan.
These restrictions applied even to those who held permits and met the age criteria, including women over 50 and men over 55.
Several Palestinian citizens reported being denied passage through the Qalandiya military checkpoint, which separates the northern West Bank from al-Quds, despite being 70 years old.
According to Anadolu Agency, the Israeli occupation military reinforced its presence at crossings leading to al-Quds, scrutinized Palestinians' identities, and denied entry to some on the grounds of lacking special permits.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office had announced that men over 55, women over 50, and children under 12 from the occupied West Bank would be allowed access to the Al-Aqsa Mosque during the month of Ramadan.
Additionally, in the early hours of Friday, Israeli forces raided and desecrated several mosques in the city of Nablus in the West Bank.
