Fierce confrontations erupted between Palestinian youths and the Israeli occupation forces during the camp's raid, with heavy gunfire, tear gas, and sound bombs being used.
The Al-Quds Brigades' Tulkarm Battalion stated that its Resistance fighters engaged in intense confrontations with the occupation forces during their early morning incursion into the city. They managed to detonate explosives, targeting the Israeli vehicles, which caused direct injuries among the occupation forces.
Hamas mourned Abu Saan, asserting that "our people will continue their revolution until the end of the occupation."
Similarly, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement mourned the 18-year-old, emphasizing that "confrontation and uprising against the occupation in all arenas are the shortest path to regain all rights and reclaim all the land."
It is worth noting that the occupied West Bank has been witnessing an alarming escalation of violence and tension, characterized by the increasing frequency of Israeli forces' raids on Palestinian cities and refugee camps. Moreover, the situation is compounded by the growing number of attacks carried out by Israeli settlers on Palestinian villages and towns.
Settler violence continues to cause fear and insecurity among the Palestinian population, as they face constant threats to their safety and property.
