IOF shoot dead Palestinian police captain in Al-Khalil
Israeli occupation soldiers shoot dead Palestinian Captain Hamdi Abu Dayya, claiming he had allegedly carried out a shooting attack.
A captain in the Palestinian police was shot dead by the Israeli occupation soldiers in the city of Halhul, north of Al-Khalil, Al Mayadeen correspondent in occupied Palestine reported on Tuesday.
According to our correspondent, occupation soldiers shot dead Palestinian Captain Hamdi Abu Dayya, 40, claiming that he had allegedly carried out a shooting attack that targeted Israeli occupation soldiers.

Moreover, the occupation forces prevented ambulances and medical teams from reaching the martyr's body at the entrance of Nabi Younis in Al-Khalil.

Earlier, Israeli occupation forces arrested 20 Palestinian citizens from separate parts of the occupied West Bank, as part of a wide-ranging campaign of arrests.
In Jenin, violent confrontations erupted between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces after they stormed the towns of Burqin and arrested Osama Hisham Khallouf after raiding his house.
With the death of Abu Dayya, the total number of Palestinian martyrs for 2023 rose to 15, including four children.
It is noteworthy that 224 Palestinians were martyred by the IOF in 2022, including 59 martyrs from Jenin Governorate.
