Earlier, Israeli occupation forces arrested 20 Palestinian citizens from separate parts of the occupied West Bank, as part of a wide-ranging campaign of arrests.

In Jenin, violent confrontations erupted between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces after they stormed the towns of Burqin and arrested Osama Hisham Khallouf after raiding his house.

With the death of Abu Dayya, the total number of Palestinian martyrs for 2023 rose to 15, including four children.

It is noteworthy that 224 Palestinians were martyred by the IOF in 2022, including 59 martyrs from Jenin Governorate.
