IOF conduct mass arrests in Jenin, Israeli settlers carry out attacks

Israeli occupation forces launch a campaign of arrests in the occupied West Bank and Israeli settlers attack vehicles northeast of Ramallah.

Israeli occupation forces arrested on Tuesday four Palestinian youths from the towns of Qabatiya and Burqin, southwest of Jenin.

Security and local sources told Wafa news agency that violent confrontations erupted after the Israeli occupation soldiers stormed the town of Burqin, west of Jenin, and arrested Osama Hisham Khallouf after raiding his house.

In Qabatiya, Israeli occupation forces arrested Sami Ghoneim, with the aim of pressuring his two sons, Ahmad and Mohammad, to turn themselves in.

The occupation forces also arrested Mohammad Omar Al-Shami and Omar Hashem Kamil and raided the house of martyr Habib Kamil's family.

The occupation also raided a number of the homes of freed prisoners and threatened to arrest them after interrogating them, including, Ahmad Rashid Kamil, his sons Mohammad (whom they beat), Ibrahim, and Moamen, as well as Mahmoud Kamil, Saad Mohammad, and Mamoun Nasr Abu Al-Rub.

The occupation forces also stormed the villages of Tora, Al-Tarm, and Nazlet Zeid in Ya'bad, and launched a combing and search campaign.

In addition, the occupation forces stormed the town of Tammun, south of Tubas, and raided two houses there.

On his part, the director of the Prisoners Club in Tubas, Kamal Bani Odeh, indicated that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town and searched the homes of the two martyrs, Imad and Bakr Bani Odeh, and wreaked havoc on them.

He also confirmed that confrontations broke out between Palestinian youths and occupation soldiers, without any injuries or arrests reported.

In a related context, illegal Israeli settlers attacked on Monday evening Palestinian vehicles on the main road, near Al Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah.

Security sources told Wafa that the settlers attacked passing vehicles with stones, while occupation forces blocked the road in both directions.
