Following the strikes, Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam underscored that all Israeli violations and breaches of Resolution 1701 and the ceasefire understandings must stop.

While chairing a security meeting at the Baalbek-Hermel governorate headquarters, Salam stressed that his government “has not and will not spare any effort to expedite Israel’s withdrawal from Lebanese territory.”

Earlier in the day, the occupation forces also shelled the Bustra Farm and the outskirts of Shebaa.

Southern Lebanon came under intense Israeli drone assaults on May 3, with strikes hitting multiple towns and raising fears over the deliberate targeting of civilians, medical workers, and environmental activists.

According to Al Mayadeen's correspondents, Israeli drones launched airstrikes on the towns of Qabrikha, Tallousa, and the outskirts of Khartoum in the southern governorate. Additionally, a separate drone strike involved the dropping of grenades near the town of Marjayoun, further escalating tensions in the area.
