Israeli occupation forces escalated their incursions across various parts of the occupied West Bank on Sunday, resulting in the injury of a Palestinian child and a youth by live fire and causing at least 10 others to suffer from tear gas inhalation.

In addition, no fewer than 10 Palestinians were detained, including minors, according to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA.

Injuries, detentions in Nablus

In the northern West Bank city of Nablus, a child and a young man were injured by live ammunition after Israeli forces stormed the Old City, WAFA reported. The agency also noted that 10 others suffered from tear gas inhalation following the heavy use of tear gas grenades by the Israeli military.

Israeli special forces also stormed the Yasmina neighborhood in the Old City, later joined by reinforcements that surrounded the area’s entrances and fired live rounds, stun grenades, and tear gas indiscriminately.
