The Israeli occupation forces wounded at least 16 Palestinians during clashes that took place in Beit Dajan, the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Red Crescent said on Friday.

"Sixteen Palestinians were injured in clashes with Israeli forces in the Beit Dajan area near the West Bank's city of Nablus," a statement read.

Confrontations are habitual between the Israeli occupation forces and Palestinians protesting against the occupation of their land by the colonialist regime, with many clashes resulting in various deaths.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, the confrontations broke out after Palestinians went out to protest against the Israeli settlement process, which saw Israeli troops heavily deploying tear gas grenades and rubber bullets against them.

The Israeli occupation forces murdered last week three Palestinians in the flashpoint city of Jenin, which is north of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

"Three were killed by Israeli occupation fire during its aggression in Jenin at dawn today," the Palestinian Health Ministry reported.

According to Palestinian media sources, the IOF stormed the city and the nearby Jenin refugee camp to conduct arrests.

Despite confirming the deaths, the Palestinian Health Ministry did not release the names of the martyrs. They were identified as Sidqi Zakarneh, Atta Shalabi, and Tariq al-Damej in unverified social media posts.

"Israel's" execution of Palestinians is not new nor shocking. However, Israeli forces have significantly escalated the killing and repression of Palestinians in recent days.

IOF launched a major offensive, mostly focused on the northern occupied West Bank. In almost brutal nightly raids, the operation has resulted in more than 2,500 arrests.  The Israeli barbarism has also resulted in the killing of more than 160 Palestinians, the majority of whom were teenagers.

Hours after the Jenin offensive against Palestinian civilians, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported the martyrdom of 16-year-old Jana Zakarneh after she was shot by the IOF.
