Iran arrests 26 Israeli Mossad agents in Khuzestan
Iran's IRGC announces the arrest of 26 Israeli Mossad agents in Khuzestan, while authorities uncover broader espionage activity linked to the CIA, MI6, and Mossad.

Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the arrest of 26 agents linked to the Israeli Mossad in the southwestern province of Khuzestan, as part of a broader counterintelligence operation targeting hostile foreign activity.
According to the IRGC’s Public Relations Department, the agents were apprehended in possession of military equipment, technical gear, and communications devices. The arrests following "Israel's" recent war on Iran, and increased Israeli intelligence activity inside Iranian territory.
In a separate but related development, Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence confirmed the identification of key spies and infiltrators affiliated with several foreign intelligence services, including the American CIA, the British MI6, and the Israeli Mossad. The ministry emphasized that it had relied on multiple covert networks to obtain highly classified and strategic information, and said it would release more findings in the coming days depending on security circumstances.
“We are engaged in an intense battle with our enemies across the hidden layers of the frontlines—at national, regional, and international levels,” the statement read.

Spy arrested inside Tehran metro
Meanwhile, Iranian police arrested an individual accused of espionage in Tehran’s subway system. According to IRGC spokesperson Brigadier General Montazer al-Mahdi, Metro Police grew suspicious of the man during transit and detained him on the spot.
Upon inspecting his phone and personal equipment, authorities found that he had recorded sensitive military sites using a microchip device and transmitted the data to unknown recipients. The suspect had also received instructions in Hebrew, the statement added.
He has since been handed over to specialized police units and the judiciary for further investigation.
