New details on Kerman bombings
A few days ago, the Ministry of Security revealed new details about the two suicide bombings resulting in the death and injury of dozens in Kerman.
Recent investigations into the attack showed that the main organizer of the operations was a 24-year-old Tajik-Israeli national, Bazirov Buzrov, with the pseudonym "Abdullah the Tajik", according to the ministry.
It further added that the accused "entered Iran illegally on December 19 last year with a woman and a child as a camouflage across the southeastern border of Iran. After that, he moved to Kerman Province, settling there in a rented house, where he managed and planned the operation."
The ministry also noted that the accused "collected and assembled parts of explosive materials to build the bombs for the operation, then left the country two days before the attack."
In the Iranian city of Kerman, more than 93 people were killed in an explosion that rocked the city on January 3 as Iranians flooded the streets marching toward the cemetery where Martyred Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, General Qassem Soleimani was laid to rest on the 4th anniversary of his martyrdom.
