The Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli shelling of the headquarters of the Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza, saying that these actions are a clear reflection of "the brutal and inhumane nature of Zionism."
The ministry emphasized that "the conscience of humanity cannot remain silent in the face of the heinous Zionist crimes against the Palestinian people," and called on the international community to "condemn Israeli crimes" and to "utilize all available means to prosecute war criminals and hold the Zionist entity accountable."

Situation in Gaza brutal
On Monday, the ministry's spokesperson Nasser Kanaani described the situation in Gaza due to the ongoing Israeli aggression as "extremely brutal."
He attributed the current conditions in the region to the support provided by the United States and some European countries to the Zionist entity, warning that "the continued unlimited U.S. support for the crimes of the Zionist entity could escalate tensions in the region."
Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, the United States has been providing the Israeli occupation with military and financial support and affirming that a ceasefire was completely off the table, greenlighting "Israel's" continuous massacres against the Palestinian people in the Strip.

CCR files to sue Biden for failing to prevent genocide
In a related context, the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) filed a complaint in federal court in California, on behalf of several Palestinian groups and individuals aiming to sue US President Joe Biden for "failing in his duty under international and US laws to prevent Israel committing genocide in Gaza."
The CCR complaint, which aimed to request the court to bar the US from providing military, financial, and diplomatic support to "Israel", has been grounded in the fact that the actions of "Israel" against the Gaza Strip amount to genocide, noting that the 1948 international convention against genocide requires the US, dubbed "Israel's" closet ally, to use its influence and bring the acts of genocide committed against the Palestinian to an end.
The brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza continues for the 39th consecutive day, with the number of martyrs in the Strip reaching 11,240, including 4,630 children and 3,130 women, according to the Gaza Government Media Office.
