The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson condemned on Tuesday the attack of the Israeli occupying military on the city of Nablus in the West Bank of occupied Palestine.

Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani pointed to the non-stop Israeli crimes and terrorist actions in the West Bank, including the attack on Nablus, and criticized the international community's silence towards these continuous crimes against Palestinians.

Kanaani praised the brave resistance of the Palestinian people, especially the youth in Al-Quds, Jenin, and Nablus, urging countries and governments across the world to support Palestinians in their struggle in liberating their occupied lands.

The spokesman also criticized the United States and some Western countries for their double standards and hypocritical stances when it comes to human rights issues.

"Their unconditional support of the usurping Zionist regime and the regime's daily crimes against the oppressed Palestinian nation is the biggest example of human rights violation, something that has been going on for many decades," he said.

This comes after the Israeli occupation forces unexpectedly stormed on Tuesday the West Bank city of Nablus in occupied Palestine, waging a round of unprecedented aggression in recent years.

The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that the Israeli occupation forces killed three Palestinians and wounded 19 others, three of whom are in critical condition, with the occupation forces preventing ambulances and medical staff from reaching the scene.

Amid the rampant criminality waged by the Israeli occupation, the people of Nablus took to the streets to offer support to the Palestinian security forces and freedom fighters as the IOF hysterically opened fire on civilians in the streets, Al Mayadeen correspondent reported.

Israeli newspaper Walla! reported that the Israeli occupation's aggression came as a "preemptive" operation against the Palestinian Resistance in the West Bank claiming that "Tel Aviv" learned that the Resistance was planning to conduct an operation against the occupation.

The violent storming resulted in confrontations between the occupation forces and the Palestinians who confronted the encroachment and aggression.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that the number of martyrs shot dead by Israeli occupation forces during their storming of the city of Nablus has risen to 6, with 21 injuries reported.

Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that outrage prevails over the cities of the West Bank amid calls for public mobilization following the martyrdom of 6 Palestinians in Nablus and Nabi Saleh.
