The Iranian Ministry of Security reported on Tuesday the dismantling of a terrorist cell that planned to carry out disruptive actions in the nation. The leader of the group was executed and many of its members were detained by the authorities.
The Ministry confirmed that the group had support from intelligence services of enemy states.
Last Friday, the Ministry announced that it had detected and dismantled a terrorist cell planning to destabilize security in the southwest Khuzestan province, southwest Iran.
Dozens of military weapons were seized in the Khuzestan province by the General Security Department.
