While Iranian officials have yet to confirm the origin of the drones, the incident is widely viewed as another act of aggression amid "Israel's" ongoing offensive.

Iranian air defense units successfully intercepted and destroyed three hostile drones over the western region of the country, according to a report published Monday by Tasnim.
The unmanned aircraft were brought down in a rural zone within the Malayer district of Hamadan Province. While Iranian officials have yet to confirm the origin of the drones, the incident is widely viewed as another act of aggression amid "Israel's" ongoing offensive.
The attack drone infiltration follows Tel Aviv's unprecedented military escalation that began early Friday, when Israeli warplanes and sabotage units launched a full-scale assault on Iranian territory.
The operation, planned for months with overt US backing, included coordinated strikes on over 250 sites, among them nuclear research centers, air bases, IRGC facilities, civilian infrastructure, and even hospitals.
Despite Israeli claims of targeting a "nuclear weapons program," Tehran has consistently denied developing nuclear arms.
Sovereign retaliation
The death toll from Israeli strikes has now exceeded 220, with more than 1,200 civilians injured, according to Iran's Health Ministry. Among the dead are women, children, and medical personnel. One of the most egregious attacks struck Al-Farabi Hospital in Kermanshah, a clear violation of international humanitarian law, prompting global outrage and renewed calls to investigate "Israel" for war crimes.
Iran's response was swift and precise. Under Operation True Promise 3, the Iranian Armed Forces launched waves of ballistic missiles and drones at Israeli military and strategic installations in Tel Aviv, Haifa, and occupied al-Quds. The operation employed advanced-generation weaponry that breached the so-called Iron Dome and directly impacted sensitive Israeli infrastructure. Israeli media have confirmed dozens of casualties and serious damage to military and industrial assets.

As the conflict enters a new phase, Iran's military command has warned that continued Israeli provocations will be met with even greater retaliatory force. In a sharply worded statement, the Iranian Armed Forces urged settlers in occupied territories to evacuate, warning that further resistance strikes will target all areas complicit in Israeli aggression. Tehran reiterated that it does not seek war, but if war is imposed, the Islamic Republic will defend its sovereignty with full legitimacy and overwhelming power.
