Iran, Qatar call for unified Islamic stance to end aggression on Gaza
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi affirms that the Palestinian people are now in need of the Islamic world unifying ranks more than ever.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi held a phone call with Qatari Amir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to tackle the latest developments in Gaza.
Raisi affirmed that the Palestinian people now need the Islamic world to unify ranks more than ever.
The Iranian President added that the "support of Western countries led by the US for Zionist entity gives green light for this entity to execute its crimes in Gaza."
He emphasized that the humanitarian situation in Gaza has reached a catastrophic stage as water and electricity supplies are cut off and the entry of medicine and food is banned by the occupation.
In the past few hours, the Israeli occupation murdered 377 Palestinians in 53 massacres, raising the death toll to 7,703 martyrs with 19,743 wounded. The #Palestinian Ministry of Health added that they received 1,800 reports, among which 1,000 were of missing children.

In this context, the Iranian President stressed the need for "firm, unified, and explicit positions from Islamic countries in support of the Palestinian people."
On his part, Qatari Amir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani stated that "what is happening in Gaza is a clear indication of the double standards of Western policies" and that regional and Islamic countries "can stop the Israeli war machine if they take a unified stance."
He added that the Israeli entity has violated all international rules and humanitarian norms and does not fear committing any crime.
This call is the second between the Iranian President and the Qatari Amir since the start of brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza. Earlier this month, they discussed the developments in the Gaza Strip.
At the time, Raisi held the United States directly responsible for Israeli crimes in Gaza, pointing out that the situation in the region is a clear example of the West's contradictory and double standards in claiming to defend human rights.
The Amir of Qatar emphasized the necessity of cooperation between the two countries in immediately stopping "Israel's" crimes against the people of Gaza and upholding the rights of Palestinians.
In this context, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stressed that protecting the rights of the Palestinian people is the responsibility of all Islamic countries.
In a phone call with Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Amir-Abdollahian said the escalation of the Israeli occupation’s crimes will further complicate the situation in Palestine and the region.
On his part, the Qatari Foreign Minister condemned the crimes of the Israeli occupation, stressing that his country stands by the Palestinian people.
Al Thani considered that Western countries must exert pressure on "Israel" to end its attacks as soon as possible.

You are witnessing an Israeli genocide against innocent #Palestinians in the #Gaza Strip. pic.twitter.com/6UCZPGm55E
This coincides with the unprecedented Israeli bombing of the Strip and deliberate strikes that cut off communication networks in Gaza, while occupation forces are attempting to launch limited ground incursions into the Strip, and failing repeatedly.
