Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has reiterated Tehran's commitment to supporting resistance forces, including Hezbollah, in their ongoing struggle against "Israel."

This declaration was issued during a meeting in Tehran on Sunday with Abdullah Safiuddin, the representative of Hezbollah in Iran.

During the meeting, Safiuddin conveyed congratulations from Hezbollah's Secretary General, Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, and other Lebanese group officials to Araqchi on his recent appointment as Iran's foreign minister.

Araqchi expressed his gratitude for the congratulatory message and extended his regards to Nasrallah, the Hezbollah officials, and the resistance fighters.

Araqchi stressed Iran's steadfast policy of backing resistance movements and supporting the legitimate struggles of regional nations against the Israeli regime.

The discussions between Araqchi and Safiuddin also covered the latest regional developments, focusing on the status of the anti-Israeli resistance front in Lebanon and the broader situations in Palestine, Gaza, and the West Bank.

Additionally, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, who took office in late July, has assured that his administration will continue to support the resistance front and advocate for Muslim unity against "Israel."

In a meeting with Hezbollah's Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem on July 30, Pezeshkian praised Hezbollah fighters for their resilience and courage in resisting Israeli aggressions.
