Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi pointed out on Wednesday that Iran's retaliatory attack against "Israel" was a precise action aimed at punishing the Israeli occupation entity.

In a speech during the National Army Day ceremony held in the Iranian capital Tehran, Raisi indicated that Operation True Promise was a limited action, underlining that should Iran decide on a broader operation against "Israel", the occupation entity would be wiped out.

He warned that any hostile actions by "Israel" against Iran's interests would be met with a stronger response, adding that "today, there is no more talk of a military option against the Iranian nation, and this is important because of the deterrence and authority of our armed forces."

The Iranian President advised regional countries to rely on their own assets and forces rather than ties with the Israeli occupation regime, stressing that "there is no need for foreign forces in the region."

Raisi affirmed that regional countries can also rely on the robust Iranian Armed Forces, highlighting that, thanks to the Islamic Revolution, these forces are now capable of domestically producing a wide range of drones and missiles.

The Iranian leader further emphasized the strong backing provided by the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) to Iran's authority and praised the unity of the country's armed forces for standing alongside the people during challenging times.

Elsewhere, Raisi highlighted that Iranian military forces contribute to regional security and peace, enhancing the region's stability.

Each year on this day, units from the Iranian Army's four divisions—Ground Force, Navy, Air Force, and Air Defense—present their latest domestically-produced equipment.

In Tehran, a ceremony takes place near the mausoleum of Sayyed Ruhollah Khomeini, attended by high-ranking officials and senior military leaders.

The event features a wide array of cutting-edge equipment, including missiles, tanks, armored vehicles, rifles, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), fighter jets, radar systems, and air defense missile systems.
